2019 Summer Interns Spotlight: 

​

Benjamin Wiest is the son of the Honorable Mark and Karin Wiest of Wooster. He is Junior at Ohio University, majoring in Accounting and Business Pre-Law.

 

Mary Baker is the daughter of Roger and Diane Baker of Wooster. She is a Senior at Albion College, majoring in Political Science and Spanish.

About the Program:

  • Full-Time, Paid Position.

  • Applicants include those wishing to pursue a career within any form of the Legal Field. 

Job Description/Purpose:

The Summer Internship Program at the Broehl Law Office offers participants exciting and challenging work assignments as well as training and mentoring. Interns will gain real world work experience within the legal field in a fast pace work environment. In addition, Interns will have face-to-face contact with all Attorneys and Support Staff.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Participation in group discussions, meetings and projects;

  • Assist Attorneys with research and brief preparation;

  • Work closely with support staff on daily projects; 

  • Communicate with clients and support the work of the Broehl Law Office.

Required Start Date  June 1, 2020 

 

Required Skills and Education Position Prerequisites:

  • Current Law School Student; or 

  • College Sophomore or Junior with a Business Administration, Pre-Law or Liberal Arts major. 

  • Good academic standing, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Long-term interest in a career within the Legal Field.

  • Strong work-ethic and interpersonal skills. 

  • Willingness to learn, grow and enhance current skill-set.
