The Importance of Protecting Customer Data: Privacy Matters!

 

The Chamber hosted an Educational Series focused on the importance of protecting customer data. Joshua Montgomery of Broehl Law Office, LLC and Brian Boyer of Web Pyro shared insight as to how businesses (small and large) can protect their data from both external and internal threats. Joshua covered the legal aspects of why it’s important to protect customer data. He shared that 50 percent of small business data breaches come from cyber attacks.

The Broehl Law Office welcomes Joshua E. Montgomery to the firm as an associate in its historic downtown Wooster office. 

 

The addition of Montgomery is part of the Broehl Law Office’s strategic plan to grow the firm. He will practice in the areas of estate planning, medical advocacy, disability, special education advocacy, business services, contracts and privacy.
