My Story

Elizabeth's passion is helping small business owners grow and thrive by helping them avoid costly legal problems or resolve those that have developed. She consults for employers in matters including drafting employee handbooks, substance abuse testing, unemployment claims, equal employment opportunity issues, hiring and termination, and work-related injuries. She also assists clients with business formation, including counseling clients on various different types of business entities and the advantages and disadvantages of each. She if proficient in drafting corporate formation and governance documents, as well as drafting and review of contracts.

Elizabeth also practices in the areas on estate planning, estate administration, and guardianships. She enjoys working with families to strategize an estate plan customized to the individual’s goals and family dynamics. Experienced with estate administration, she appreciates the ability to attend to the necessary but administrative tasks in order to enable families to focus on the transition often needed at the time of a loved one’s death. She also helps such families obtain guardianship of special needs or elderly loved ones and then serves as an on-going resource for questions and annual reporting.

Elizabeth’s personalized approach is also a part of her personal injury practice, where she remains focused on her individual client’s needs rather than a one-size-fits-all representation. She has nearly three decades of experience presenting and successfully negotiating settlements with insurance companies for victims of motor vehicle accidents, house fires, and rejected long-term-care insurance claims. Because she attends to individualized needs, she helps clients avoid common consequences accident victims experience, such as damaged credit while awaiting insurance settlements.
